Destination in focus
Tanzania · Northern circuit
Two million grazers follow the rain in a slow loop through the Serengeti and Kenya’s Mara. We place you where the herds are that month, in small camps that move with them.
Signature journeys
These are starting points, not packages. Each one is priced honestly and rebuilt around your dates, the season and the people you travel with.

From$9,800per person · best Jul–Oct

From$11,400per person · best Jun–Feb

From$10,900per person · one gorilla permit included

From$5,300per person · best Aug–Mar
Per person sharing, in US dollars, for the quietest season the route runs. Peak months cost more, and you see the real number before you commit to anything.
How a trip is designed
No forms to wade through and no fixed departures. One planner, four steps, and a trip that reads like it was written for you, because it was.
Thirty minutes on a call. Who is travelling, what you want to feel, and what you would rather skip.
Day 1A route, a shortlist of camps and a costed draft. You see every line of the price, not a single total.
Within 3 working daysSlow the pace, swap a lodge, add two nights on the coast. We redraw until it feels right, then hold the rooms.
As many rounds as it takesThe same planner from first call to flight home, reachable on WhatsApp. Someone meets you at every airstrip.
Throughout your tripWhen to go
East Africa has two rainy seasons and no bad month, only better ones for each place. This is how we read the calendar when we plan.

Our story
For a thousand years the kaskazi, the north-east monsoon, carried dhows from Arabia and India down to Lamu and Zanzibar. It is why this coast speaks Swahili, and why Stone Town’s doors are carved the way they are.
We are a small studio in Arusha. We plan a limited number of journeys each season so that every one gets the attention a good trip needs: camps we know by name, guides we choose ourselves, and routes that leave room to do nothing at all.
