How booking works

Four steps, no surprises

Every price on this site is a real price. Here is exactly what happens between “that one” and touching down in Arusha.

  1. Choose a trip

Search by place or style, then pick dates. Every trip can be changed: more nights, a better room, a beach at the end.

  2. Hold it with 20%

A 20% deposit confirms the lodges and permits. The rest is due 60 days before you travel.

    Card, bank transfer or M-Pesa
  3. Get your travel pack

Day-by-day plan, vouchers, visa links and a packing list, by email and as a PDF for your phone.

  4. Travel with backup

Our team in Arusha and Nairobi is on WhatsApp from the moment you land until you fly home.

Why book direct

Same lodges. Fewer middlemen.

Most safaris sold abroad pass through two or three agents before they reach the camp. We sit one step from the lodge, so the price is lower and the answers come faster.

  • No booking feesThe price you see includes our margin. Nothing is added at checkout.
  • Flexible datesMove your trip for free up to 60 days before departure.
  • People on the groundOffices in Arusha and Nairobi, not a call centre overseas.
  • Pay your wayUSD, KES or TZS, by card, bank transfer or M-Pesa.

FAQ

Good questions, straight answers

Still unsure? A planner will answer by email within one working day.

Ask a planner
What does a “from” price include?
Accommodation, the meals listed, park and conservation fees, a professional driver-guide, and the transfers and flights named on the trip. It is per person sharing a room, in the lowest season the trip runs.
Do I need a visa?
Most visitors need an eVisa for Tanzania and Uganda, or an electronic travel authorisation for Kenya, applied for online before you fly. We send the official links with your travel pack. Check the rules for your passport with the embassy.
When is the best time to go?
June to October is dry and the best for game viewing. January and February are calving season in the southern Serengeti. April and May are green, quiet and cheaper, which is why our green-season offer runs then.
How does the deposit work?
A 20% deposit confirms your lodges and any permits. The balance is due 60 days before departure. Gorilla permits are paid in full at booking because the wildlife authority requires it.
Can children come on safari?
Yes. Every safari on this page accepts children from age 5, and many lodges have family rooms. Gorilla treks are for ages 15 and over, which is a national park rule.
What about vaccinations and malaria?
A yellow fever certificate is required if you arrive from, or transit through, a country with yellow fever risk. Malaria prevention is advised for most of the region. Talk to a travel clinic six to eight weeks before you go.
